Clocking back in with Jake Hunter.

After some time off the bike i decided to get bak to it this week. First step new frame, and a new bike build. Considering ive built probably 500 bikes so far i was expecting to b rolling an hour later. Little did i know that my parts conspired against me during the two weeks they sat alone in the garage. A horrible game took place of tug of war between me and warped crank spacers, broken brake cables , incompatible new parts, and front end that would not line up. Well luckily Jake Hunter noticed the rage in my soul rising and stepped in and took over. This threw my bike off, startled it just enough to go together before closing time. Jake's a good dude, and we went out and rode a little to celebrate. Heres two action shots of old man Hunter now....

Hop up to smith to HARD 180.

icepick sequence. Like greased butter on ice.

Summertime, a time to be slack and unmotivated.....

I find myself joining the club when i ask  "wtf is amateurhourbmx?" In theory we are here to document and somehow put a positive spin on bmx in the region (in theory). We got off to damn good start with updates, a jam, prizes, ect. and now the train has stalled out thanks to old man sunshine and bikini girls. Vacations, shovels, beaches, blah blah makes computer time seem boring. Fear not faithful viewers, the rest of summer has events stacked up, first up with amateurhour's first ever nightfall trail jam. No date set, just an early heads up to all the trail riders out there. All my electrical knowledge will be needed for this clusterfuck of an idea, 20000 watts of juice lighting up a forest may be a fire hazard? Look for the "fuck mother jam 2" sometime this fall in a new location with new setups. Web edits? Yea we got a few, Video release? Possibly? Filming for Congratulations asshole is still going on i think, but a deadline has to b made someday...wouldnt you think?  Oh yea look for amateurhour"s "night at the races" coming up where we will be attending a bmx race at morristown bmx raceway. Look for me at the finish line shitting out a lung and coughing up years of laziness by nights end. Anyone wanting to participate will be included with a free amateur hour padset. look for more on this stuff as the weeks progress. Till then look at this.

And on the fifth day, God said "let there be tabletop friday".

When it comes to local heroes noone is more notable than William J. Love. I dont know if his middle name starts with J but that rolls of the tongue nicely. Mr. Love points his wheels toward the sky this week for your viewership. Look closely and u may see KNoxvilles own Micheal Tetro sneeking in the background. Its Blue PLum festival, so get out and get crossed-up.
