JR and myself along with a cast of all stars will be up in NJ this weekend for the congrats premier at mikes house. Were actually going to have dvds for sale this time. 5 dollars gets you the dvd with 2 stickers. should have about 20 for sale so get em while there hot and fund our trip back home. I really can't put the past weekend into words, perhaps these pictures will do justice.

There are a ton more photos, but my internet is slow this evening, thanks to Jay Rut for shooting and there is more to come. Thanks to Jeff and Jake for giving 10 of us a place to stay, thanks to the Hideaway for letting us trash the place, and thanks to Skeleton Pecker for the best night of my life.

I want to thank everyone that came to the premier and thank you for the kind words and positive feedback. It means a lot to me to have this video done and to see people enjoying it. Thanks to the Hideaway for letting us have the premier and thanks to Skelton Pecker for always kicking ass. I feel lucky to have such good friends to share such good times with. The NJ premier will be at the end of this month and we plan on trying to make it an even bigger party. A more refined version of the movie will be for sale soon for a few dollars. Stay tuned for more details and pictures from the premier.

whats at stake?

4 days until Congratulations asshole hits the big screen at the hideaway. For many reasons premeirs like this are important to me, for one its a proper way to get together with your friends and relive the past moments together one more time before moving on to the future. its a celebration thats deserved of all the time and pain involved in making a video. Bmx is dangerous, no matter what skill level. A good party and 40 minutes of memories is really all you get at the end of it. That may seem like very little, but in a way its more than we ever imagined. Im proud of the vid we made and so this saturday come out and support your local scene and riders for all the work put in. Bmx is alive and well, and its little gatherings like this that keep it strong. see you there

Matt fucking Rowland. The older i get the more i realize that not alot of people keep it real. Matt Rowland is the presient, chairman, and c.e.o of keeping it real. In this picture hes making every bike rider on the planet look silly. Yeah im talking to you! Opposite table top fully freakin flat while wearing hiking shoes in front of the house he built with his own hands. Matt wins. End of story.

New Jersey?

A lot has been going on as of late, and we wanted to wait til the dust settled to post an update. As you can see above, the Amateurhourbmx.com T-shirts have arrived in New jersey and Tom wasted no time celebrating. See myself or Tom if you'd like to pick up a shirt, many sizes and colors to choose from. The New Jersey Premiere is set for October 1st with additional information to come. Expect a BBQ, some BMX, and a few bands to be on hand as well. Delmont Skatepark got an upgrade recently and more should be done in time for the festivities.

We hope to see you here in October, Tom might even share his beer with you.
